The Trade Marketing Manager will manage and provide strategy plus oversight of key growth channels, such as NABCA, National Accounts (NA), Regional Accounts and On-Premise channels of the Phillips core spirit brands portfolio. Leading and developing the strategic direction and implementation of the overall trade calendar and sales team collaboration to drive the overall growth agenda . The successful candidate will manage the implementation of trade programming within channels directing and cascading the channel initiatives, programs and setting KPIs to meet commercial objectives in an entrepreneurial, team-oriented environment.
Develop, own and execute brand programming within key channels to deliver market growth, specifically NABCA marketing plan. Collaborating closely with the NABCA sales team to identify key opportunities; supporting with trade related activities.
Establish, own and execute the National Accounts (on/off premise) and Regional Chain channel marketing plan. Partnering closely with NA and sales team to identify, define, and establish key brand programming within the key channels.
Partner to develop priority Calendar Program and channel activities which effectively and efficiently drive programs to meet department, business and brand objectives and competitive strategy.
Collaborate with the Brand team to develop integrated programs and partnerships to help support the brand portfolio at retail.
Guide agency partnerships to ensure programs are timely and successful; providing deliberate oversight and feedback ensuring successful programs that realize return on investment
Set program KPIs and monitor progress with key channel stakeholders to ensure follow through of programs, attend meetings, markets visits and additional meetings as needed.
Work with executive team to develop and execute dynamic campaigns that drive growth and accelerate customer adoption.
Be an ambassador for the company and its brands, and consistently support company values.
Minimum Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field preferred; with 5+ years’ consumer- focused marketing experience in the food or beverage industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated results in trade programs with channel management.
Experience managing agency partner relationships.
Self-motivated with the ability, and initiative, to actively learn and adapt in a growing organization.
Excellent verbal and written communications; exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills; ability to work with “team first” approach.
Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficient computer skills including E-Mail, Spreadsheets, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Occasional travel required: +/- 25%; attendance at evening and weekend work events, may be required.
Valid driver’s license.
