Description Directly manage all operations activities on shift including; production, rectifying and bottle blowing. Will also have operational oversight of maintenance and warehouse material activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, staffing, employee training, safety, quality control, inventory control, equipment maintenance, productivity, sanitation, and financial performance.

Essential Functions:
• Manage all functions under their direction, utilizing available resources effectively to achieve the company’s objectives.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure continuity between all functional groups and work toward a “one team” environment.
• Work closely with the Day/Night Shift Manager to ensure a smooth transition of the daily operations schedules from the day shift to the night shift.
• Utilize daily efficiency report to monitor operational efficiencies and make improvements/adjustments as needed.
• Develop long-term and short-term goals for team that support the company’s mission and vision.
• Work closely with the safety and quality department to ensure a clean and safe environment for employees within OSHA regulations, company policies, GMP’s, and proper sanitation.
• Partner with Operations Managers to develop annual budgets. Monitor and analyze monthly financial statement to ensure alignment. Establish and maintain company procedures and policies for applicable functional areas/departments.
• Ensure all operational reporting is accurate and timely, this includes but is not limited to; downtime report, batch entry reporting, shift handoff reports, etc.
• Work closely with planning and scheduling to optimize operational efficiencies.
• Lead team to work cross functionally on process improvement projects.
• Prepare and conduct all performance reviews for staff at least annually.
• Make hiring and disciplinary decisions based on company guidelines.
• Administer company policies fairly and equitably.

• Ability to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of production support functions including, problem solving, budgeting, development, training and human resources.

• Ability to lead through influence as well as direct authority.

Minimum Requirements of Training. Experience and Education:
Must have 4-year college degree with 3- 5 years of progressive management level responsibility in a manufacturing operation (preferably food or beverage) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions: Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and sit for extended periods of time.
