Overview

Handle baggage for guests at hotel in and out of company passenger vehicle. Safely and timely transporting guests to designated location such as Mayo Clinic.  Provide exemplary customer service with every customer including local directions and local area information.

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Transfer luggage, trunks, and packages to and from rooms, loading areas, or vehicles, by hand or using baggage carts.
  • Supply guests with directions, travel information, and other information such as available services and points of interest.
  • Provide guests with transportation to various destinations within the area with the hotel vehicle.
  • Assist physically challenged travelers and other guests with special needs.
  • Work with other internal departments to guarantee guest comfort and satisfaction.
  • Provide occasional phone and front desk coverage when necessary. 
  • Provide professional, pleasant customer service at all times.
  • Be prompt and follow hotel assigned driving schedule.
  • Assist with maintaining vehicle (gas/washing/maintenance/interior cleaning)
  • Assist with maintaining evening coffee station
  • Assist with lobby and exterior of building cleanliness
  • Assist with snow removal as needed

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of the English language
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • General knowledge of the Rochester Area
  • Professional in appearance and demeanor
  • Previous Customer Service background
  • Current Drivers License
  • Limited moving violations, driving accidents and zero alcohol/drug violations
