Position Status: Part-time; non-exempt

Hours are 1 - 2 days per week; 3PM - Close; must be available some Friday's and Saturday hours.

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Greet customers entering store, and thank them for shopping at Andy’s when they exit and/or after placing purchases in vehicle.
  • Carrying purchases to customer’s vehicle.
  • Assist with maintaining clean and orderly checkout areas.
  • Stock or organize goods
  • Dust shelving and products as needed
  • Answer customer or public inquiries
  • Assist with resolving customer complaints.

 

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Must be 16 years of Age
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Professional in appearance and demeanor
  • Working knowledge of the English Language
  • Effective oral communication skills

Requires standing about 90% of shift, Requires bending or twisting, Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls, Requires repetitive movement, Requires walking. Must be able to lift 25 – 50 pounds on a regular basis. Overhead reaching and moving of product from shelving. Requires contact with others (face-to-face, by telephone, or otherwise), Requires dealing with unpleasant, angry, or discourteous people, Job tasks are performed in close physical proximity to other people. Job tasks will be performed in heat of over 90 degrees and cold temperatures of 10 degrees or less while carrying product to customer’s car.  Also while stocking product in cooler.
