Description Take your career to the next level at our O'Hare Child Development Center!

As Assistant Director at our O'Hare Child Development Center you’ll be responsible for nurturing the hearts and minds of children during some of their most formative years, while instilling in them a dedication to life-long learning.

This position provides an opportunity for an experienced child care professional to make an impact on the diverse community of O'Hare. It’s our goal to have centers that create learning environments where children can flourish, and the Assistant Director plays a crucial role in fostering that atmosphere.

O’Hare Child Development Center is located on the border of Park Ridge and Des Plaines, allowing our center to collaborate with the Park Ridge and Des Plaines Chambers of Commerce and public libraries. The center is in a secure building on FAA property and parents always comment that they immediately feel welcome upon entering the center as teachers greet them by name. Many of our families are employees of the federal government and the children we serve at O’Hare grow and learn by interacting with other children from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Parent involvement is important to us, too, and we have a parent advisory board, which provides support to the center. We are proud that parents’ strong commitment to the O’Hare Child Development Center ripples through the community and results in many referrals.

The talented staff members at O’Hare Child Development Center have dedicated their careers to early childhood education and are committed to helping you to be the best teacher you can be. We hope you’ll consider joining our team!
