Title Loan Servicing Admin Lien Releases

The primary function of this role is to process a lien release when a mortgage loan is paid off.  This role includes working with multiple jurisdictions within various states to ensure that we are following all lien release guidelines according to state law.      


Primary Duties:

  • Prepare required lien release documentation for recording
  • Prepare and scan all lien release documentation to include paid off documentation to Synergy  (imaging system)     
  • Mail/scan all original loan documents to members once their loan has been paid off
  • Manage the daily mortgage loan paid off reports within CU core system Symitar Episys and Mortgage Servicing system FICS Mortgage Servicer
  • Manage the monthly Home Equity Line of Credit reports to include all loans with draw periods that are expiring as well as send letters to members. 

Other Mortgage Servicing Duties:

  • Answer telephone inquiries for credit union account and mortgage loan information
  • Process mortgage verifications
  • Process mortgage loan payoff requests
  • Process mortgage loan payoffs to include:
  • Prepare of payoff voucher for Accounting and/or Wires Department
  • Prepare any payoff overages for the member if applicable
  • Process loan payoff in CU core system Symitar Episys as well as the Mortgage Servicing system FICS Mortgage Servicer
  • Process mortgage loan adjustments
  • Process payment transactions within the CU core system Symitar Episys

Standard Responsibilities:

  •  Knowledge of the Credit Union’s products and services.
  •  Complete BAI Learning classes as assigned.
  •  Maintain department policy and procedure documentation accordingly.
  •  Remains cognizant of and adheres to NWFCU policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).

SHIFT HOURS: 7:30- 4:00 PM M-F with rotating shift to 7:00 PM / 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM ROTATING SAT.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, previous financial and service experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, organizational, and problem-solving skills needed.
  • Knowledge of Credit Union policies and procedures relating to mortgage loans. 
  • Knowledge of legal documents required for mortgage loans as well as a thorough knowledge and concern for security.
  • Knowledge of Synergy, Symitar Episys and FICS Mortgage Servicer systems is preferred.
