Title Security Engineer
City Alpharetta, GA
Description Liaison Technologies is looking to immediately fill a full-time Senior Security Engineering role in the Alpharetta, GA office. This position requires solid knowledge and proven work experience with both SIEM and IAM technologies. Good communication skills and both experience and enthusiasm working with automation technologies are a must.

The Senior Security Engineer will be a core member of the Global Information Security team, and will be responsible for designing, architecting, implementing, and enhancing SIEM and IAM deployments. Day to day duties will be handled by other resources. This position is all about getting the data integrated, ingested and/or analyzed by the right tools, ensuring latest and greatest threats are accounted for, and providing colleagues with tools and training to help them do their jobs more efficiently and effectively.
To really knock things out of the ballpark - you’ll need solid experience with a handful of tools, a knack for automating and mentoring others, and a proactive ‘can do’ attitude.

Responsibilities:

• SIEM
o Architect, implement, and continually enhance alerting for SIEM integrations
o Automate the onboarding of network devices, operating systems, SQL databases, NoSQL databases, and custom code applications
o Integrate the solution with cloud services / tools / APIs
o Configure security focused dashboards and reports
o Configure custom dashboards and reports for other business units
• IAM
o Evaluate AD architecture and provide recommendations for improvement
o Architect, implement, and enhance OKTA integrations
o Work with internal owners and third party vendors to automate onboarding and offboarding processes for internal and external access & tools

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree (technology related preferred)
• 5+ years of related information security work experience
• 2+ years of SIEM specific work experience
• 1+ years of IAM specific work experience
• 1+ years of automation/configuration management work experience
• Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
• Solid people, team and communication skills
• Familiarity with Agile / SCRUM

Preferred Skills:

• Security certifications, such as CISSP, Security+, etc.
• Experience with PCI, HIPAA, SOC2, and/or GDPR
• 2+ years of Splunk specific work experience
• 2+ years of OKTA specific work experience
• 1+ years of Ansible specific work experience
• 1+ years of Git / GitHub specific work experience
• Incident Response / forensic work experience
• Agile / SCRUM leadership experience (scrum master, etc)
