Summary
The Solaris Garage Manager is responsible for supervision of others in managing, coordinating and maintaining the operations of the Solaris Garage parking facility in an efficient and courteous manner in accordance with all hotel and Parking Authority guidelines and standards.

Essential Functions
To perform the Solaris Garage Manager position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•  Manage, implement and supervise all daily parking operations of the Solaris Garage

•  Organize, maintain, and reconcile various financial records, both manually and through automated methods

•  Manage claims process, limit liability and maintain overall safety in the Solaris Garage Parking facility

•  Train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate Solaris Garage associates

•  Assist in setup of special event parking programs

•  Balance accounts and assists in preparing reports and statements

•  Provide technical assistance and work direction to Solaris Garage associates

•  Upkeep maintenance of garage parking electronic pay revenue control equipment

•  Ensure and monitor upkeep and maintenance of Solaris Garage facility

•  Operate office equipment (e.g., computer terminal and peripheral equipment, calculator, copier, etc.)

•  Assist in collecting, recording and depositing revenues received at the Solaris Garage facility

•  Prepare special reports in connection with fiscal records as assigned or required

•  Work special projects as assigned or required

•  Perform activities, functions and other related tasks and duties as assigned or required

•  Administer and maintain lease (monthly) parking program at Solaris Garage

•  Maximize and account for all revenue at Monteleone Garage

•  Verify payroll to ensure accuracy and to ensure the payroll period is 100% correct for all Solaris Garage associates

•  Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required for an individual to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the Solaris Garage Manager position:

Language Ability

Math Ability

•  Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions

Certificates and Licenses
•  A valid state issued driver’s license with no driving violations issued within the last two (2) years

Supervisory Responsibilities
•  Directly supervise all garage associates at the Solaris Garage

•  Train, counsel, schedule and evaluate all Solaris Garage associates

Work Environment
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

•  The work location is located in a parking garage facility where the weather conditions may be adversed (hot, cold, rain)

•  The working temperatures and conditions may vary

Physical Demands
•  Regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds

•  Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds

•  Regularly stand, walk, use hands to fingers, handle or feel

•  Reach with hands and arms

•  Talk or hear

•  Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

•  Safely navigate multiple flights of stairs

Position Status and Availability
•  Available to work full-time, flexible (AM or PM) shift, Monday - Sunday including holidays

Education and Experience
• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)

•  At least one (1) year of customer service experience

•  At least two (2) years of supervisory experience in a parking garage setting
