||Latin America Market Development Manager
The Latin America Market Development Manager is responsible to develop, implement and execute the Latin America Business and Marketing Plans including New Product Launches for GC Operatory, Laboratory products as well as GC Digital Solution Platforms using
a customer-focused, go-to-market approach. He or She will also have the responsibility for the implementation and execution of GC Global Oral Health Programs.
The Latin America Market Development Manager will lead the EBD (Evidence Base Dentistry) programs together with our Latin America GC Regional Key Opinions Leaders and Researchers. He or She will use EBD as the scientific foundation and evidence to support existence
and new products launches to secure successful and differentiated product market penetration.
This role serves the Latin America Region Dental Industry and provides leadership and directions to the Latin America Product Manager and Regional Sales Managers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Develop and execute New Product Launches Plans together with our Business Partners (Distributors) in the region.
•Support Regional Sales Leaders to execute sales and marketing campaigns to grow market share and achieve planned sales and margin.
•Forecast and active role in the SIOP process.
•Develop relationship with key opinion leaders and facilitate the execution of Evidence Base Dentistry (EBD) and Clinical Education initiatives.
•Develop relationship with Business Partners in the region
•Obtain market data on sales, the competitive landscape and pricing.
•Accountable to monitor sales and market share trend and take appropriate action to achieve plan
•Provide input for and present business review
•Collaborate with Regional Sales Leaders to develop local training execution plan to address local needs.
•Analysis of syndicated data, wholesale and retail sales performance.
•Regular and ad-hoc oral-written communication of metrics, successes, failures, best practices to improve overall team performance.
•Work with marketing teams to develop robust lead generation funnel.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences, Scientific or Engineering Discipline / Marketing: MS, or MBA highly desirable. Dental consumables industry experience is a plus.
•5-10 years in global sales and marketing leadership experience in Health Products. Experience in the Latin America Market preferred.
•Proven ability to develop and execute business plans.
•Understanding of health consumables / dental industry is a plus.
•Excellent interpersonal skills: communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively.
•Highly self-motivated leader with a proven ability to lead an international-Latin America Focused effort to growth sales and capture market share.
•Develops and maintains a high level of product knowledge of GC products and competitors’ products.
•Demonstrate deep understanding of customers’ business needs
•Knowledge of in-country sales channels
•Ability to travel internationally as business requires. (50% minimum)
•50% minimum international mostly Latin America travel is required.
