GTI is presently seeking two positive and collaborative attorneys to join its legal team. These attorneys will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various agreements and providing counsel to technical, management, and support services colleagues regarding transactional-associated legal matters. These roles involve independent work as well as participating on, and sometimes leading, cross-functional teams. To be successful in these roles, candidates will need to: be attentive, thorough, and organized; communicate clearly and accurately, verbally and in writing; and concurrently manage, and quickly transition between, multiple matters.

Requirements

Required Qualifications: 

  • Licensed Illinois attorney, active and authorized to practice law, or will become qualified in accordance with Illinois Supreme Court Rule 716
  • At least one year of post-graduate professional work experience

 

Desirable Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years’ experience as practicing attorney;
  • Demonstrated ability to independently draft and negotiate a variety of agreements;
  • Some experience as in-house counsel; and
  • Exposure to intellectual property considerations.
