Position Overview
Our C&S Aviation Sustainability Practice develops sustainability plans/strategies for airports across the country, leads stakeholder engagement efforts and supports the integration of sustainability in design and construction projects. We are looking for passionate and motivated sustainability professionals to contribute to this exciting work.

As a result-everyday on the job is different as we work on a collaborative basis with C&S’s engineering professionals.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading the development of sustainability plans and/or airport design and construction projects with an emphasis on sustainability. Candidates should possess strong communication and facilitation skills, as stakeholder engagement is a frequent and exciting opportunity in this role. Specific assignments will depend upon individual abilities with great potential for professional growth.

Join a vibrant and passionate team of professionals. This position can be located at any C&S office nationwide or potentially out of a remote home office. We have offices in California, NY State, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio and Florida.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and contribute to sustainability plans, strategies, and design/construction.
Depending on your skill sets and interests, prepare/conduct emissions inventories, energy and water assessments, waste audits, and other resource-specific studies.
Lead public and stakeholder engagement sessions.
Manage projects from identification of opportunities through project close-out. .
Participate in the development of material for proposals and project interviews, determining scope of work, estimating fees, negotiating contracts, budgeting and cost control, scope and schedule control, staff resource management and project QC.
Coordinate efforts with local, state, regional and federal transportation agencies.
Maintain knowledge of aviation industry/sustainability services/projects/trends.
Manage projects from identification of opportunities through project close-out. .
Serve as primary client contact; travel to client sites across the United States. Lead public and stakeholder engagement sessions.

• Bachelor’s Degree in sustainability, environmental, planning, civil engineering or a related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
• LEED AP, ENV SP, AICP and/or PE certification preferred.
• Seeking candidates with various levels and years of specialized experience in sustainability, aviation/airport industry strongly preferred.
• Excellent oral/written/presentation/interpersonal/organizational & analytical skills.
• Leadership experience including business development, project management and ability to manage and direct others.
