Our aviation sustainability practice develops sustainability plans for airports across the country, leads stakeholder engagement efforts, and supports the integration of sustainability in design and construction projects – closely collaborating with C&S’s Engineering professionals. We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual to contribute to this exciting work.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing sustainability plans and/or major design and construction projects that have leveraged sustainability rating systems. The candidate will also have strong communication and facilitation skills. Specific assignments will depend on the skills of the individual.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Manage all aspects of the project from identification of opportunities through project close out.
 This includes participating and developing material for proposals and project interviews, determining scope of work, estimating fees, negotiating contracts, budgeting and cost control, scope and schedule control, staff resource management and quality control of all assigned planning projects.
 Serve as primary client contact.
 Lead public and stakeholder engagement sessions.
 Coordinate efforts with local, state, regional and federal transportation agencies.
 Maintain current knowledge of aviation industry services, sustainability projects and trends.
 Willingness to travel to client sites across the United States.



Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: See below….

Minimum Education & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in sustainability, environmental, planning, civil engineering or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
AICP, LEED AP, ENV SP, and/or PE certification preferred.
 Specialized experience in sustainability.
 Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills.
 Leadership experience including business development, project management and ability to manage and direct others.
