The CORE Institute is currently seeking a full time, motivated Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to manage our Bone Health Clinic in collaboration with our designated Bone Health physician. Job Duties include:

Managing an osteoporosis clinic, practicipating in interdisiplinary team meetings regarding patient treatments, screening, assessing and treating patients, providing education, monitoring compliance with thereapy. Duties include both clinic work and hospital consults with a goal of preventing future fractures



Requires BS, MS,BSN, MSN preferred. Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner or physicians assistant program. Minimum of two years professional experience in a clinic or hospital environment and two years of nurse practitioner/physician assistant experience. Current AZ state NP/PA license and Board Certified. Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and the public and be capable of establishing good working relationships with both internal and external customers.


Knowledge of acute and chronic protocols, administration of medications, delivering physical care following treatment plan

Knowledge of how to assess patient health and measure/record physiologic and growth indices

Knowledge of health promotion principles and techniques and patient learning measurements


Skill in gathering and analyzing physiological, socioeconomic and emotional patient data

Skill in accurately evaluating patient problems in person or via phone and providing appropriate follow-up
