As The CORE Institute continues to grow, we are currently seeking a Registered Nurse at our Spine Center to join our team of professionals.

Job Duties include:

    1. Provides general nursing care to patients in the clinic. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
    2. Maintains exam rooms for necessary supplies and materials. Prepares equipment and assists physician during treatment and examination of patients.
    3. Observes, records and reports patient’s condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians. Dispenses medication as directed. Educates patient/family about procedures and medications.
    4. Ensures appointment preferences are given to patients in emergency situations. Screens patients for appropriation information.
    5. Maintains/reviews patient records, charts and other pertinent information.
    6. Responds to /refers incoming patient treatment-related phone calls. Instructs patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions.
    7. Monitors patients receiving IV conscious sedation in a safe and effective manner.
    8. Demonstrates knowledge and expertise in the recovery of patient’s post procedures.
    9. Demonstrates clinical expertise and professionalism when responding to emergency situations.
    10. Maintains privacy, confidentiality and integrity of patient and organizational data.

Skills/ Requirements:

  • Requires a current AZ RN license.
  • Experience with pain management is preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and the public and be capable of establishing good working relationships with both internal and external customers.
