Title Sr. Financial Analyst

Description Key FP&A team member on the Performance Analytics and Solutions team supporting our Retrospective Claims Analysis line of business. Position will work closely with Operations and Finance to drive business performance. Position will be responsible for creating ad hoc reports and provide financial analysis allowing operations teams to fully understand KPIs and profitability dynamics. Position will lead in building out of dynamic dashboard reporting for use across internal and external clients. Position will serve as a key communication within the company across multiple departments with respect to performance metrics and information.

Main point of contact from operations on ad hoc requests and new report requests
Act as lead financial liaison with operational business partners to understand specific client dynamics to be used in near and long term financial projections. Lead periodic assessment of risks and opportunities impacting current and future financial forecasts.
Enhance business intelligence through the development, presentation, and interpretation of key financial reporting and metrics for operational leadership and stakeholders.
Keep senior management and stakeholders informed on significant changes and/or issues that may impact business and client results.
Lead new innovation in operational and financial analysis allowing for depth and understanding of key drivers in the Retrospective Claims Analysis business.
Requirements Experienced professional with a BS/BA degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred.
3-5+ years of financial management and analytical experience, including financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting.
Strong analytic skills, including ability to identify and quantify financial impact of opportunities with limited data.
Demonstrated strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access. Tableau or similar programs preferred.
Professionalism with ability to properly handle confidential information
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet frequent deadlines.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
